It’s Nutcracker time! Join Ms. Emily and friends in celebrating. Dance 101 is offering a themed dance camp to get the sugarplum fairy dancing in your head this holiday season. ‘Nutcracker Sweet’ will teach children a dance based on the two acts of the traditional Nutcracker story. Listen to the Nutcracker story before you learn the steps from the party scene, dance like the Ballerina and Moor dolls, and battle the Mouse King to save the Nutcracker. Enjoy a holiday snack and craft while you rest before traveling through the whirling snowflakes and finishing your trek through the Land of Sweets. Finish your holiday adventure with a performance and hot chocolate after. ‘Nutcracker Sweet’ is open to dancers ages 3- 12 from all backgrounds! We will be dividing into 2 age groups with 2 different performances at the end of camp. Parents, enjoy 4 hours of holiday shopping bliss, knowing that your children are enjoying their magical journey through the Land of Sweets.
